Leisure Pool Chlorine Neutralizer [Sodium Thiosulfate] – 10 lb Pail

Leisure Pool Chlorine Neutralizer – 10 lb Pail – Commercial Grade

Sodium Thiosulfate (Dry Crystals) commonly known as Chlorine Decreaser/Neutralizer, will reduce free chlorine levels in commercial and residential swimming pools and spas. This product is available from Leisure Pool & Spa Supply in convenient 10 lb pails.

Why would you need to lower your chlorine levels? Chlorine is the most common shock/oxidizer used in both commercial and residential swimming pools. Chlorine levels may be very high after shocking the pool or after adding too much chlorine to the water. This makes the pool unsafe and uncomfortable to swim in. Neutralizing the chlorine allows you to get back to using your pool quicker than simply allowing the chlorine to naturally dissipate.

Instructions for use: 2.6 oz. of Chlorine Neutralizer per 10,000 gallons lowers free chlorine residual by 1 ppm.

Leisure Pool Calcium Hardness Increaser [Calcium Chloride] – 10 lb Pail

Leisure Pool Calcium Hardness Increaser – 8 lb Pail – Commercial Grade

Calcium Chloride (Dry Granules) commonly known as Calcium Hardness Increaser, will raise calcium hardness levels in commercial and residential swimming pools and spas. Other uses include as an ice melt, dust control, and as a concrete accelerator. This product is available from Leisure Pool & Spa Supply in convenient 8 lb pails.

Why do you need to balance your CH levels? Low calcium hardness in your water can result in corrosion and etching of your pool/hot tub surface. If the calcium hardness level swings too high, this can result in calcium buildup, clouded water, and clogged mechanicals. The optimum Calcium Hardness level is between 200 to 275 PPM. To remove calcium from the pool, the old water must be drained and new water with less calcium added to dilute.  Click here to learn more about pool water balance.

Instructions for use: 1.1 lb. of product per 10,000 gallons will raise Calcium Hardness levels by 10 ppm.

Why do you need to balance your pH levels? There are many factors that can influence the pH level. This includes debris, chemicals, and skin oils/waste brought into the pool by swimmers. (One of the many reasons you should shower before jumping into a pool!) Before checking or correcting the pH levels, check and correct the Total Alkalinity level.
